Commercial scaffolding covers the type of scaffolding projects needed for larger building companies and house builders.

Commercial scaffolding contracts could be for the development of new houses or commercial buildings such as warehouses and office buildings. The types of scaffolding required for these types of projects could be independent access scaffolding erected progressively for building houses or edge protection handrails for the installation of new roofs including tiling and cladding. Independent access scaffolding for house builders could also include the use of loading bays for stacking of materials or access scaffolding platforms for timber frame construction.
